Responsibilities:

  • Maintains consistent presence throughout the segment, while partnering with Segment Team leaders using decision process to develop and implement business strategies to improve business.
  • Responsible for annual achievement of financial performance, while delivering flawless customer service
  • Develops top talent for the organization while demonstrating remote leadership competency to motivate and engage employees
  • Provides training and development of employees, removes, and replaces under performers.
  • Responsibility & accountability for developing strong relationship with key customers in each market.
  • Works closely with Warehouse Director to establish best practices and consistency in all warehouse & delivery operations, keeping continuous improvement top of mind
  • Working closely with the Division Safety Manager, creates a Safety "First" culture that is Compliant, Legal and Ethical

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or related background required, MBA an asset
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years demonstrated experience in Operations required
  • Specific knowledge of the supply and distribution industry required
  • Must have demonstrated success with problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
  • Ability to work with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Must demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Strong customer and employee orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to include presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have a strong commitment to company values
  • Frequent and sporadic multi-night travel is required
  • Relocation/Transfer to the hiring branch may be required
