Senior Advisor, Regulatory Affairs Act as a specialist in compliance with non‑financial risk management frameworks, contributing to the continuous improvement of regulations in accordance with regulatory guidelines and strengthening regulatory risk governance. Responsibilities Lead and maintain the documentation of the regulatory compliance matrix, including monitoring guidance from regulatory bodies. Analyze OSFI expectations and lead their integration into non‑financial risk management frameworks. Identify and report material regulatory risks and recommend adequate mitigants. Contribute to the implementation of the integrity and security risk management framework. Provide regulatory expertise in new projects and regulatory reviews. Support the execution of periodic compliance attestation initiatives. Prepare documentation and reports for senior management. Analyze and support the Bank’s representation with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders (OSFI, CBA, etc.). Your Team Part of the Integrated Risk Management sector, you will collaborate with a team of fifteen colleagues and report to the Senior Director, Regulatory Oversight and Living Wills. The team’s mission is to serve as a regulatory expertise hub, supporting the IRM sector in risk governance. Prerequisites 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in risk management or regulatory compliance. Strong knowledge of regulations applicable to banks (OSFI). Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and present information for a senior management audience. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across hierarchical levels. Strong analytical skills, rigor, and ability to devise solutions to complex challenges.
