Spectra has partnered with leading companies on endeavors ranging from large-scale data centers to tenant fit‑ups. Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical) based in Markham, ON, working on projects in the US. The successful candidate will conduct mechanical systems testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with industry standards and deadlines. Daily tasks include working closely with engineering teams to meet performance requirements, documenting test results, analysing data, and coordinating with project stakeholders to resolve technical issues. Responsibilities Conduct mechanical system testing and commissioning on data center projects Troubleshoot technical issues and diagnose performance problems Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams and project stakeholders Document test results and produce clear technical reports Analyse data and recommend improvements to system performance Qualifications Proficiency in mechanical testing and commissioning in data centers Experience or background in electrical engineering and related testing procedures Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving system performance issues Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑disciplinary teams and stakeholders Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations Effective communication and technical documentation skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Previous experience in large‑scale data centre projects (asset) Ability to travel to the US Commissioning Certificate is an asset Benefits Dental care Extended health care Vision care Job Type Full‑time Pay $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year Location Markham, ON (On‑site) Application Application Questions: Are you able to travel and work in the US?
