WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH As one of our first hires and first in HR, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will build and maintain relationships with teams across MFAM, the Mastercard Foundation, external consultants and vendors. You will provide support to all business areas of MFAM. As a member of the team, you will have opportunities to grow and develop, and create meaningful value and lasting impact through the Mastercard Foundation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO This is a unique opportunity to be involved in starting up a world-class organization that will have global impact. In the first 6-12 months, in this exciting start from scratch assignment, you will be focused on: Talent sourcing, recruitment and selection efforts Prioritizing and building the human resource function’s infrastructure, team/partnerships, process, tools, policies needed to support our vision, strategy, culture, and values

You will be involved in building out the operating model for Human Resources. Responsibilities include: All recruiting efforts – marketing/vendor management, talent sourcing, selection process, candidate communication, etc. Successful onboarding process for new staff members Create success profiles for roles to support recruiting, performance management, etc. Lead talent management activities to ensure the organization has the talent required and individuals can enjoy fabulous career within our organization. People related administration, policy development, and compliance Drive and own programs that support our culture and employee engagement Establish organization wide performance management process and support the development of metrics and monitoring of individual and team accomplishments. Lead performance management Lead employee relations activities Identify and lead other People and Performance initiatives to drive value – training, HR systems, recognition & rewards, coaching, workforce planning, etc. Establish Media Strategy

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 10 years + experience in human resources functions with strong experience in managing the end to end talent selection process (eg. Sourcing, recruiting, selection) Experience in financial services. Specific experience in asset/investment management is an asset Experience collaborating with senior leaders as well as managing cross-functional teams to deliver on time sensitive deadlines Experience with process excellence frameworks (e.g. lean) and real-world application of process excellence principles and tools is an asset Good working knowledge of data management governance practices, processes and supporting technology Experience communicating with senior and executive management Experience & passion for an assignments and organization with lots of white space.
