What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Area Manager, the Liquor Store Manager leads the day-to-day operations to provide quality products and services in our store. They are responsible for providing strategic direction, leading, coaching, training, motivating, and inspiring our Team Members with the goal of providing a superior guest service experience. is someone who can build and maintain positive relationships with our guests, team members and vendors, while ensuring that the administrative requirements of the role are fully maintained at the highest standards.
- Overseeing the daily operation and management of the liquor store in accordance with company policies, procedures, and overall expectations.
- Provide direction and leadership toward building a positive, highly motivated team.
- Ensure the store’s merchandising standards are being managed and maintained and all programs are being implemented, measured, and managed.
- Ensure the store’s housekeeping, sanitation, and maintenance schedules/standards are managed and being maintained.
- Directly responsible to ensure the store adheres to BCLDB operating guidelines and all government regulations in labeling, pricing, sanitation, and food safety.
- Directly responsible for team member relations, including hiring, training, development, and performance management.
- Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence.
