Role Overview In the role of Senior Business Consultant specializing in IBOR (Investment Book of Records), you will work full-time on implementation projects, bringing your expertise to the IBOR area. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project stream, act as an important sparring partner for clients, and effectively monitor, coordinate, and elevate issues as needed. Key Responsibilities Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension® implementation projects: understand customers’ requirements and processes related to investment operations at banks, asset managers, and insurers, and outline optimal solution designs for SimCorp Dimension®. Close cooperation with the project manager and play a key role in delivering projects to success. Gain understanding of SimCorp’s Global Standard Solutions and utilize them for project delivery. Serve as the primary contact for our customers regarding all questions related to SimCorp Dimension®. Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job. Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects. Actively participate in knowledge exchange with colleagues at an international level. Required Experience and Qualifications Previous experience as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks, or consulting firms. Excellent know‑how in at least two of the following areas: Our candidates will have experience in one or more of the following fields: Asset Management – Back Office – or Financial Reporting Consulting or Professional Services within the Asset Management sector An implementation role for a software vendor specializing in Asset Management software Asset Management candidates should have 3–5 years of experience working hands‑on with the investment operations function and related enterprise applications. Consultants should have experience with multiple enterprise implementations involving IBOR functions on the buy side, and hands‑on experience with applications similar to SimCorp Dimension. Experience with trade processing including confirmation and/or trade settlement processes and solutions is a plus. Degree within a business discipline (Accounting, Finance, or Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences preferred. Self‑starter with a can‑do mindset. Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver results on time. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English—both oral and written. Basic understanding of financial industry/products and related accounting. Hands‑on experience with SimCorp Dimension is a plus. Ability to travel to client sites (up to 50%). Can attend the SimCorp office 2x/week as per our hybrid policy; for NYC, 3x/week. Senior Level and Employment Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level. Employment type: Full-time. Salary & Benefits For Toronto: Salary range $119,000 – $148,000 CAD, with annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off, and Group RRSP/TFSA. For New York City: Salary range $139,000 – $173,000 USD, with annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans.
