Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
The Supplier Quality Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, he manages a multi-competencies team, integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the HNA organization, manages complex issues within the functional area of expertise, is involved in long-term planning, and contributes to the overall business strategy.

• Manage Supplier Quality Engineers/Experts (SQE) and Inspectors (SQI) team.
• Be the voice of Supplier Quality to the Organization.
• Owner of the related KPIs for Supplier Quality Management.
• Manage Supplier Approval and Audits for Qualification.
• Perform Supplier Continuous Improvement program with strong supplier performance monitoring.
• Supplier Selection & Approval.
• Ensure that HNA suppliers are compliant and qualified according to quality standards.
• Drive audits at suppliers (EHS, Manufacturing process, Inspection process), establish Audit Report & Action Plan, Update Documentation in management system tool and evaluate Supplier inspection capability & resources skills.
• Ensure that Quality documents for Tenders & Projects are defined (Manufacturing Process Plan, Control Plan, FMEA…) and shared across functions, and meet Contract requirements.
• Ensure that Risk Assessment is performed & Mitigation Plan continuously reviewed.
• Prevent non-quality issues by implementing appropriate tools & quality concepts.
• Ensure that products are manufactured at suppliers according to quality standards and customer requirements.
• Implement and manage the realization of inspection activities at suppliers and to prevent delays in inspection execution.
• Ensure that Quality Document is shared across Quality functions.
• Support the management of non-quality related to suppliers and managing the recovery cost associated.

Supplier Continuous Improvement:
• Monitor supplier performances for the HNA region.
• Deploy a process to identify the necessity or inputs for development of strategic suppliers, and implement a supplier development process to achieve the Quality requirements including training and coaching.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.
• Extensive experience in managing supplier selection and quality.
• Extensive people/team management skills.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required (approx. 20%).
• Experience in quality and manufacturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills / Six sigma trained and certified or equivalent quality certification.
• Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited, reference verification and background check.
• Must have unrestricted Canadian work authorization.
