OverviewELEKS is looking for a German-speaking Solution Architect in Croatia, Poland or Germany.In this role, you will contribute to both active delivery projects and participate in consulting engagements, including discovery and assessment phases. You may also drive solution architecture, help define architectural methodologies, and serve as a mentor to developers and technical leaders.Requirements8+ years of experience in software development (.Net/Java/JavaScript/Python)3+ years of experience in technical leadership2+ years of experience in software architectureStrong hands-on experience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS preferred; Google Cloud is acceptable if open to reskilling)Comfortable working across both active delivery and presales initiativesFluent business EnglishAdvanced level of German (C1+)ResponsibilitiesElicit business and technical requirements from the business stakeholdersDefine a solution architecture guided by the architectural drivers such as business and functional requirements, constraints, quality attributesProvide ballpark estimates based on the estimation methodologiesReengineer, document, review and analyze solution architectures using trade-off analysis methodology and other qualitative and quantitative methods of analysisSupport the Engagement team in pre-sales providing the technical expertise, architecture vision, and estimatesDrive the project bootstrap cooperating with the development team and passing the knowledge and architectural vision to themSupport long-term projects from the architectural perspective making and reviewing design decisions, documenting the architecture, communicating with the client’s technical peers, participating in creation of the PoC and prototypes and collaborating with the development teamsChoose among the technologies, reference architectures, and patterns and evaluate the candidate solutions based on the objective drivers, constraints, and criteriaTravel onsite to perform the client consulting servicesWhat you will get with ELEKSClose cooperation with a customerBusiness tripsChallenging tasksCompetence developmentAbility to influence project technologiesProjects from scratchTeam of professionalsDynamic environment with a low level of bureaucracyAbout ELEKSELEKS is a custom software development company.
