International Quality Engineer

p>What you will do

Silent-Aire has an opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the execution of quality goals and objectives. Proactively drive actions to meet internal and external customer expectations for quality. Use sound audit techniques and statistical tools to identify high leverage continuous improvement projects to elevate the company Quality delivery to our customers.

Providing engineering support (electrical/mechanical) to the team to aid in root cause analysis.

Provide technical assistance on identifying the root causes to top plant issues and drive actions to closure.

Analyze data relating to the build processes to understand our top issues and drive projects for improvement (IWO’s, commissioning issues, field failures).

Participate in regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.

Provide quality support to cross-functional New Product Introduction (NPI) team projects.

Develop quality plans and other process controls to ensure processes, work in progress and finished goods meet the specified quality standards.

Analyze product specifications and manufacturing processes/procedures to determine best practices to meet or exceed our quality and ISO standards.

BS in engineering, quality management or other technical discipline.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality engineering role in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and root cause of quality issues.

Knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Open to occasional business travel (domestic and international).

Exceptional mechanical aptitude.

Proven track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Minitab or equivalent statistical analysis software (current version) experience preferred.
