Working with some of Canada's top gurus in Tax, a career in tax at Doane Grant Thornton means you'll be supported to further your professional career and create your unique career journey.Joining our robust team of over 400 tax professionals means you’ll collaborate with colleagues across service lines such as Assurance, Advisory, and Specialty Tax, which can broaden your perspective and help you solve client problems, delivering personalized solutions.As a Senior Manager, Tax, in the Privately Held Business areas of tax, you will have the opportunity to: Work with our Barrie team and be supported by a National network of talented professionals Assist businesses and individuals with a wide range of tax, financial and succession planning services Be part of a unique work culture that challenges you to further your professional development and enrich your chosen career path Be a well-respected professional, part of a team building a very successful business delivering highly valued solutions to clients Develop solutions with clients and co-workers through collaborative effort and creative discussion Be closely engaged with and serve clients on a wide variety of local, national and international projects As a Senior Tax Manager, you're a trusted advisor to clients, helping them with corporate and personal tax planning and compliance so they can benefit from tax savings. li>Work closely with clients and the engagement team to develop exceptional tax planning ideas and solutions to achieve our client’s business objectives Be a leader in the management and development of our growing tax practice Assist clients manage their income tax planning, implementation and compliance requirements including complex PHB corporate, personal, and trust matters Identify, develop and pursue new opportunities for assisting clients with value added-on tax services Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Senior Tax Manager? li>You’ve completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, or have a Masters of Taxation degree Substantive expertise with the tax-related aspects of succession, trust and estate matters gained as one element of providing corporate and personal tax planning and compliance services to privately held businesses Ability to develop, present and apply new ideas, creative approaches and innovative solutions.Commitment to excellence in product quality and attention to detail
