Summary:

Lantic is currently recruiting for the position of Analyst, Risk and Internal Control within its Finance team. The Analyst – Risk and Internal Control performs key functions within the finance department, being responsible for risk management and internal control. The main objective of this role is to lead the company's internal control efforts and ensure compliance with controls. You will be responsible for documenting and maintaining controls.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Understand the company's financial risks, processes, and controls;
  • Facilitate the control governance by evaluating and improving the control framework;
  • Ensure that internal control process and documentation is up to date;
  • Perform tests on key controls quarterly and annually;
  • Review user access rights to the ERP system, Business Central, on a monthly basis;
  • Identify risks related to access controls and provide recommendations to ensure the separation of incompatible functions;
  • Identify compensatory controls when necessary.
  • Make recommendations and follow up on identified control gaps;
  • Prepare documentation on the results of key control tests;
  • Support the Director of Corporate Finance in preparing certain quarterly financial reports.

What you'll need to join the team:

  • Strong comprehension of internal audit standards, the COSO framework, risk management practices, and accounting and financial reporting concepts and principles;
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and a recognized accounting designation;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Bilingual in both spoken and written communication.
