They pride themselves on working with individuals and small businesses offering services including bookkeeping, income tax filings and returns, estate planning, payroll services and more. Role Position: Senior Staff AccountantLocation: TillsonburgSalary: $65,000-$90,000 + other benefits and perksIndustry: Public Accounting Role Overview This role will assist with managing a large book of established business and those relationships. This is a small office where you must work independently and efficiently in a very busy environment. Responsibilities T1, T2 and T3 Filings Full service bookkeeping for small businesses including year end close HST filings Payroll and some HR services Estate Planning Government Audit assistance Qualifications CPA designation Minimum 4+ years experience in a full service bookkeeping or public accounting role Solid experience of personal and small business income tax filings Excellent command of the English language Proficiency in accounting systems including Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), QuickBooks, and various Tax softwares Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset Why Apply This role is a dream job for a seasoned accountant or up-and-comer who has a passion for public accounting, loves being busy and wishes to own his/her firm someday.
