p>Overview

To be responsible for the effective operation of the Carvery Department by maximizing sales and gross profit, ensuring sales’ goals and budgets are met and providing customers with the best quality foods, ensuring courteous, timely customer service.

To effectively control inventory through pricing and signage of carvery products to achieve company goals and budget so as to maximize sales and profits;To ensure the maintenance of equipment and the safety and sanitation of the production and back room areas, as per Company Policy;To ensure compliance with the company food safety standards, regulations and audits;To respond to any customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times;To interpret and administer Company policy and ensure compliance with the Collective Agreement;

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in food production, preferably in a retail or restaurant environment;
  • Previous managerial experience and knowledge of production schedules is a definite asset;
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evening, nights, and weekends;
