Instrumentation, Electrical & Controls ManagerAbout the job Instrumentation, Electrical & Controls ManagerRESPONSIBILITIES:Plan, supervise and coordinate a team of instrumentation, controls and electrical technologists, engineers and design drafting staffResource allocation and planning for the departments in conjunction with the Engineering Managers planning and scheduling departmentEnsure all required design deliverables are provided to other departments in a timely mannerProvide high level engineering guidance to the instrumentation, control and electrical departmentsResponsible for the accuracy of estimates and designs proposed for instrumentation, control and electrical systemsManage the development of EI&C departments design standards and tools and communicate and train staffActing as a client liaison for the scope of instrumentation, controls and electrical on projectsProject coordination and liaison with other disciplinesParticipating in Client meetings as necessaryParticipating in Engineering Planning MeetingsQUALIFICATIONS :7 + years in a leadership role10 + years of experience in a related industry and scope of workTechnical Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalencyASET or APEGA designationProficient in the sizing, selection and application of use of instrumentation for process plant applicationsProficient in the design of electrical systems including power, lighting, controls, communications, grounding, fire alarmProficient knowledge of EI&C manufacturers and productsProficient at estimating the EI&C portion of process equipment packagesConducting a bid analysis for selection of the appropriate vendorInspecting equipment when received as requiredPreparation of written sections for EI&C scope for equipment proposalsTesting and commissioning instrument equipment when required for a projectManaging and reviewing EI&C drawings and deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance to project scopeCoordinating EI&C drawings and deliverables with other disciplines #J-18808-Ljbffr
