The starting rate for a Teacher Teaching On-Call ranges from $306.73 to $456.31 per day, with placement on the July 1, 2023 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. Additionally, a TTOC is paid $11.00 per day in lieu of benefits. Posting Deadline: Open until filled Individuals must have the following qualifications:

Successful K-12 Teacher training and practicum

Eligible for BC Teacher Certification

Facilitation & Engagement: Ability to capture and maintain students’ interest, effort, participation and enthusiasm for both the content and the process of learning

Assessment & Coaching: Utilize balanced assessment and feedback to improve student learning including the use of formative and summative assessment strategies.

Collaboration & Teamwork: Collaborate with others to achieve group goals and objectives

Caring & Inclusiveness: Create and maintain an environment that is caring, inclusive and supportive of all students

Flexibility & Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in our ability to adjust and adapt to changing circumstances
