Assurant supports the businesses that are advancing the connected world for their customers, making technology more accessible and eco-friendlier.Assurant Device Care (DCC) - MississaugaIs looking for an on-site Material Processor LeadReporting to the Production Supervisor, the Material Processor Lead will work directly with the DCC’s Leadership team assisting with production floor support and adhering to safety standards while also guiding and training team members to ensure production quotas and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility.Duties and responsibilities of Material Processor LeadWorking knowledge of shop floor systems (Oracle)Participate in daily stand-up meetings with SupervisorsParticipate in internal and external customer or vendor meetingsWork with Supervisor to reallocate resources (people/supplies/products etc.) as needed to meet customer goalsWork with other departments as needed to ensure proper workflow is achieved.Point of contact for employees for handling escalation issuesWork with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues.Identify process improvement opportunities and provide effective / implemented solutionsAbility to collaborate with other departments with their area of responsibility.Participate with team on monthly audits.Work with supervisors to implement any changes or adjustments on production floor.Monitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) for all customers and programs.Monitor KPI and SLA performance levels and escalate any issues/concerns to supervisors when needed.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.Compile and analyze data.Complete daily reports and production scheduling.Train and coach associates as needed.Perform other duties as required.What are the requirements needed for this position?High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of production experience.Proficient in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting UPH expectations.Strong team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.Excellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to learn and follow work instructionsAbility to work well under pressure and handle multiple prioritiesProblem solving skills and the ability to analyze complex problems and formulate solutionsExcellent attention to detailsWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Database software- data entry software in existing programsSpreadsheet software- Microsoft Excel- intermediate understanding and data entry into spreadsheetsWord processing- Microsoft Word- basic documents and reportsPrevious leadership experiencePay Range:$44,100.00 - $72,900.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.Expected application deadline is 05/30/2025If date is blank then this is a pipeline requisition, and we will continue to collect applications on an ongoing basis.Helping People Thrive in a Connected WorldConnect with us.
