We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics and Warehousing Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services, and supporting compliance programs. Additionally, the position will involve inventory management, asset tracking, and overseeing warehouse activities to maintain operational efficiency.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO

Logistics Responsibilities:

  • Shipping & Receiving: Oversee the receipt of incoming goods and services, ensuring they meet quality standards. Coordinate outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Inspection: Inspect incoming goods for damages, discrepancies, and ensure all items conform to the specified requirements.
  • Customs: Manage customs documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
  • ERP System Management: Receive goods and services in the ERP system, ensuring accurate data entry for inventory control and order fulfillment.
  • Packing Goods for Shipping: Package goods according to shipping guidelines and ensure proper labeling for safe delivery.
  • Shipping & Customs Paperwork: Generate and verify the necessary shipping and customs paperwork for outbound shipments.
  • Compliance Support: Understand and support company compliance programs related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Stock Receiving & Put-Away: Coordinate the receipt, verification, and put-away of stock in the warehouse, ensuring the organization of inventory for easy access.

Warehousing Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage warehouse inventory levels, ensuring stock is well-maintained and accurately tracked.
  • Asset Tagging & Management: Implement and maintain asset tagging systems for tracking company assets.
  • Kanban/Replenishment: Use Kanban systems for inventory replenishment, ensuring that stock levels are maintained based on demand.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, optimizing workflows for efficiency and productivity.
  • Inventory Counts: Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy.
  • WIP Management: Manage Work-in-Progress (WIP) inventory to track the movement of materials through production processes.

WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM

  • Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software. Experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and customs procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of compliance programs and safety standards in logistics and warehousing is a plus.
  • ASCM CPIM/CSCP certification or current enrollment in an equivalent program is a plus.
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience, with the ability to operate equipment safely and effectively preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across departments.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy goods (35lbs) as required.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting.

The base annual salary range for this full-time role is between $102,000 to $141,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salary across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside of this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to a candidate's qualifications including relevant education and training, competencies, experience, geographic location, and business needs. Base pay is only one part of the total compensation package. Full time roles are eligible for equity and benefits. Base pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
