Electrical Designer - Electrical Panels and PLC DesignSyntronic is a global leader in design and development, specializing in electronics, electro-mechanics, and software. We’re seeking an Electrical Designer to design and develop electrical panels and racks incorporating PLCs.The role involves creating detailed plans and specifications to ensure the systems meet all technical and safety standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to integrate these systems effectively into larger projects.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical panels and racks, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.Integrate PLCs into electrical systems, ensuring proper functionality and communication with other system components.Create detailed electrical schematics and layout drawings using CAD software.Conduct design reviews and provide input on specifications to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure proper integration of electrical systems within mechanical designs.Prepare technical documentation and manuals for installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems.Perform testing and validation of electrical panels and PLCs to ensure reliability and performance.Participate in vendor drawing reviews and provide feedback to ensure alignment with design specifications.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Proven experience in designing electrical panels and integrating PLCs.Proficiency in CAD software for creating electrical schematics and layout drawings.Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
