Thomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 50 years. p>

We are looking for a General Manager to oversee and manage this rapidly growing business unit. p>

The General Manager will provide strategic vision, execute growth plans, manage annual P&L objectives, drive innovation, and foster talent development. Additionally, they will oversee the Regal Rexnord Business System, ensuring world-class performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. p>

This is a full-time permanent position, located at the Thomson Power Systems site in Langley, BC, Canada. The candidate needs to be authorized to work in Canada, reside in the Lower Mainland area, and be willing to be on-site at Thomson Power Systems a minimum of three times per week.

  1. Lead and oversee the development of short and long-range objectives, policies, financial and operating plans for the organization.
  2. Build and maintain effective internal and external relationships, ensuring that the right people are in the right roles while building the best overall team.
  3. Drive cost reduction initiatives through engineering redesign, vendor management, and manufacturing projects.
  4. Support opportunities to leverage corporate-wide RRX capacity and capabilities.
  5. Hold responsibility for overall compliance for all environmental and local, state, and federal government regulations.
