As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario, we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking an Investment Associate. The Investment Associate is responsible for providing exceptional member service through the preparation, organization, and maintenance of client files while performing a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This includes processing purchases, trades, transfers, redemptions, new accounts, and account reconciliations, as well as ensuring all transactions comply with regulatory and organizational requirements. The position also supports scheduling and coordinating client appointments and annual reviews to maintain regular engagement and strengthen member relationships. In addition to administrative support, the role contributes to the growth and success of Northern Credit Union by assisting with marketing initiatives, promoting credit union solutions, and referring clients to appropriate specialists. Building strong working relationships across teams and departments is essential, as is maintaining open communication with the Wealth Advisor to ensure seamless member service and operational efficiency. Preferred Candidates Will Possess The Following Qualifications CIRO-ID (Formerly IIROC) Registered Representative (RR) license in good standing (or eligible for immediate registration). Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH). 2–4 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a wealth management or credit union environment. Strong understanding of investment products, account types, and regulatory documentation requirements. Exceptional organizational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and investment processing systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach to member service. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
