Site Parking Manager - Victoria, British Columbia Join to apply for the Site Parking Manager role at LAZ Parking Base pay: $80,000.00/yr Overview At Victoria International Airport (YYJ), LAZ oversees parking operations, enforcement, taxi services and curbside dispatch, ensuring seamless safe professional operations. Key Responsibilities Support daily management of airport parking operations, taxi dispatch, taxi holding lot, and curbside traffic flow. Ensure compliance with all Airport Authority protocols, safety regulations, and company standards. Monitor staff scheduling, attendance, and performance to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency. Assist in implementing contingency and emergency response plans, maintaining 24/7 operational readiness. Collaborate with supervisors to manage day-to-day site issues, ensuring smooth operations across all service areas. Supervise frontline team members and shift leads, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures. Support hiring, onboarding, and continuous training programs—promoting professional development and compliance. Maintain accurate records for licensing, certifications, and airport access credentials. Assist in maintaining strong relationships with Victoria Airport Authority and key stakeholders. Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense control measures. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to performance improvement initiatives. Promote a customer-first culture, ensuring all guests and transportation partners receive professional courteous service. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, logistics, or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred. Minimum 2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in parking, transportation, or airport operations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to multitask and adapt to fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and analytical mindset for operational data and financial reporting. Capable of coaching, conflict resolution, and team development. Physical Demands Willingness to work in various weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, and move between operational areas for extended periods. Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs as needed. FLSA Status: Exempt LAZ Parking is an equal‑opportunity employer.
