Be part of a visionary team challenging traditional ways of working Work in a brand‑new facility equipped with state‑of‑the‑art tools and technology Enjoy a healthier, more comfortable work environment with modern amenities Help shape the autobody shop of the future Responsibilities Examine damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage Complete appraisals and determine proper repair methods and pricing Monitor daily productivity of all assignments and corresponding records Monitor progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring proper repair and safety procedures are followed Control the method and cost of repairs by using established industry regulatory practices and corporate guidelines Complete Total Loss evaluations through market and Autosource search Complete remote appraisals Make decisions that positively impact the site and the customer Promote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goals Qualifications Post‑secondary education Minimum 5 years auto estimating experience Repair planning experience Experience within the automotive repair industry Excellent customer service skills combined with outstanding communication and conflict resolution skills Strong knowledge of automotive/equipment preventative maintenance, refurbishment and repair practices and procedures Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills Commitment to an environment of continuous improvement Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Detail oriented with an emphasis on quality control Ability to take direction and perform well under pressure Strong awareness of safety practices and procedures Benefits Competitive annual base salary that reflects your skills, experience, job‑related knowledge and relevant qualifications Medical and dental benefits Eligibility for annual bonus – actual amount depends on performance and Aviva AutoCare Centre Various retirement savings options including participation in optional group RRSP Competitive vacation package Exceptional career development opportunities and support for professional development education Uniforms will be provided based on your role Clean and safe work environment, including on‑site showers and break room Additional Information We may use AI tools to help us through the recruitment process.
