Key Responsibilities: Design and Build CICD Pipelines: Lead the design and development of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins X and Maven. Focus on ensuring a seamless pipeline for Quickplay's microservices. Infrastructure as Code: Develop and deploy infrastructure through Terraform, ensuring efficient and scalable cloud architecture, with a focus on cloud migration and ongoing support using Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, and Packer. Microservice Containerization: Support software containerization with Docker, while leveraging Kubernetes and Docker Swarm for effective container orchestration. Play a key role in Dockerizing applications, including creating Docker files, images, Helm charts, and YAML artifacts. Kubernetes Cluster Management: Set up, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and Rancher for container orchestration, ensuring they are production‑ready for integration with Quickplay’s microservices. Vulnerability Management: Scan and address vulnerabilities in Docker images, ensuring timely updates and secure package management. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for both legacy and new full module deployments, ensuring smooth integration across systems. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with various stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring the development and deployment of infrastructure and software meet business needs and technical specifications. Documentation & Training: Provide clear documentation on processes and tools, and offer training and guidance to team members to support successful implementations. Proven Experience & Expertise: Infrastructure Expertise: Over 10 years of experience in infrastructure management, with a strong emphasis on cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Pulumi, and Terraform. Software Development Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in software development, including proficiency in languages like Golang, Java, or similar. Microservices Architecture: Expertise in designing and developing scalable, secure, and high‑performance microservices. Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring smooth cloud migrations and optimized infrastructure. CICD & GitOps: Extensive experience implementing CICD pipelines and GitOps methodologies within agile environments to ensure high‑quality software delivery. Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and Couchbase, ensuring efficient data management in cloud environments. DevOps Tools Expertise: Skilled in tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins X, Ansible, and Kubernetes, ensuring reliable infrastructure operations. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with multiple teams, ensuring successful integration of DevOps practices into the broader product and technical roadmaps. Clear Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Team Leadership: Ability to mentor and guide teams, offering training sessions and support to ensure effective use of DevOps practices and tools. Leadership & Self‑Direction: Independent & Self‑Motivated: Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision while also actively contributing to team collaboration. Problem Solver: A creative and analytical thinker who can tackle complex technical challenges while balancing multiple tasks and priorities. Success in this Role Requires: Technical Leadership: Successfully deliver advanced DevOps projects, ensuring alignment with Quickplay’s infrastructure and cloud strategy while staying ahead of industry trends. Strategic Vision: Define and execute on DevOps strategies that support Quickplay’s goals for scalability, security, and performance across our OTT platform. Team Motivation: Inspire and lead your team to achieve high standards in software development, infrastructure design, and microservices deployment. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure the infrastructure strategy aligns with broader company objectives.
