As a member of the Risk Management Solutions Group ("RMSG") at National Bank Financial Markets ("NBFM"), you will be working on NBFM’s trading floor in Toronto with a team of senior derivatives originators covering commercial and mid-market clients in all economic sectors and industries in Ontario.As an associate director you will be supporting the group’s marketing efforts and actively be involved in generating hedging and trading ideas, development of materials to communicate ideas, pricing of derivatives, and execution of client transactions. You will work closely with the trading and structuring teams as well as several other National Bank departments including the National Client Group, Commercial Banking Group, Specialized Banking as well as Banking and Operations teams.Your JobReporting to the Managing Director, you can expect to actively participate in a wide variety of transactions.Your main responsibilities will include:Support the RMS Coverage Team in developing customized OTC Foreign Exchange solutions tailored to client specific needsPerform various tasks to support the team members in their transaction origination and client coverage effortsPrepare presentation material and generate a variety of data-based reports and analysisDevelop a vast network including internal partners and clients to coordinate the distribution process from end to endParticipate in client meetings and presentationsPrice and execute various derivative transactions using modelsAutomate manual procedures and tasksConduct a variety of company, market research and risk analysisEnsure constant communication and oversight with middle and back-office operationsYour teamThe Risk Management Solution Group is responsible for developing and originating financial derivative transactions as well as structured solutions for National Bank of Canada’s existing and prospective clients. The Risk Management Solutions group works closely with our Commercial, National Accounts and Specialized Banking teams. Our product scope is truly cross-asset and includes derivatives on interest rates, foreign exchange, equity, and commodities.
