We are looking for an experienced and driven Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As an SRE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will lead by example, providing hands-on technical leadership while driving continuous improvement through automation and best practices. Key Duties and Responsibilities (What you’ll do):
  1. Lead code and non-functional reviews of all production-bound SRE solutions, focusing on performance, security, maintainability, compliance, and change management.
  2. Drive transformation by continuously seeking ways to automate existing processes and improve efficiency.
  3. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enable efficient and automated software delivery.
  4. Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and application performance.
  5. Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
  6. Participate in on-call rotations to respond to incidents and ensure 24/7 availability of our systems.
Key Requirements (Who you are):
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or similar role.
  3. Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to technical leadership.
  4. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Shell.
  5. PHP knowledge is a big PLUS.
  6. Must have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
  7. A hybrid work environment and a beautiful midtown Toronto office for when you want to collaborate in person.
