Overview

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Team Member to join our team at Canada's Wonderland. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a landscape environment and a diploma or certificate in horticulture or a related field.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a small landscape team to ensure all daily tasks are completed.
  • Cultivate, prune, edge, mulch, fertilize, irrigate and plant assorted collections of woody and herbaceous plant material displays (trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials).
  • Recognize plant disease/insect problems and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Interact with different people of all ages and backgrounds.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a landscape environment.
  • Diploma or certificate in horticulture or a related field is an asset.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's license (class G/G2) with a clean abstract.
  • Plant identification skills and knowledge of cultural practices related to maintenance of herbaceous and woody plants is an asset.
