They offer excellent benefits, amazing growth options and an unbeatable work-life balance like no other firm hasTasks & ResponsibilitiesCreate and organize multiple client engagement teams for Canadian corporate tax matters, including tax planning, minimization strategies, and complianceDeliver technical expertise related to complex tax and assurance issues through high-quality deliverablesSupervise project financials including budgets, WIP, billing, collections, and variance recognitionPrepare transactional documentation and provide advisory support to clientsLiaise with the CRA and provincial ministries on client tax mattersCommunicate with team members and clients to address corporate tax queriesAnalyze discrepancies and irregularities in financial entries and reportsPrepare and execute election formsAssess client issues arising from compliance or tax planning activitiesAssist with the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals tailored to client needsParticipate in pre-engagement meetings to define responsibilities, risk areas, materiality, and timelinesIdentify methods to maximize client relationships and service impactReview tax returns and team deliverables to ensure high-quality controlMonitor and adjust project timelines against defined targetsRepresent the firm in local professional, business, and community networksContribute to the development of new processes and innovative tax approachesCoach, mentor, and train junior team membersPerform other related accounting duties as requiredSkills & QualificationsChartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation completedCompletion of Level 1 & 2 of the In-Depth Tax Program5 to 6 years of relevant experience in public accountingStrong knowledge and hands‑on experience in Canadian TaxSolid understanding of business, accounting, and practice development principlesExpertise in domestic tax compliance and tax reorganizationsProficiency in Caseware, Profile, QuickBooks, and Simply AccountingHigh computer literacy, including strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointSome travel may be requiredJob TypeFull-Time, Permanent #J-18808-Ljbffr
