Our clinic specializes in the execution of research studies that hope to advance treatments for many indications including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, migraine, autism, celiac disease, diabetes, and more.GENERAL DESCRIPTIONOkanagan Clinical Trials is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Research Assistant to join our team in Kelowna, BC. The Research Assistant is responsible for conducting memory assessments, data entry, scheduling, maintaining files, and assisting the research team with administrative tasks. The research assistant may also collect vital signs and performs ECGs.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:SchedulingData EntryScanningFaxingReminder CallsPossess a sound and in-depth understanding of each protocol’s requirementsPerform timely, accurate electronic data entry, using the protocol-specific eCRF completion guidelinesVerify entries for accuracy and completenessRespond to automatic system-generated queriesRelay all other queries to appropriate study coordinatorConduct memory assessmentsEDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s DegreeTwo years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and training is an assetREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:Proficient in MS Office requiredHighly motivatedCustomer service and interpersonal skillsTeam playerJob Status: Full Time / 40 hours per weekSalary: $52,000 – $56,000 salary (Including benefits after a 3-month probation period)Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pmHeadlands Research is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any protected group status under any applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
