Position : General Practitioner in Oncology – Regular, Part‑Time (Flexible FTE) – Kelowna, BC. BC Cancer is looking for a General Practitioner in Oncology to join its Kelowna team. This clinician will primarily work with a newly established Gynecological Oncology Surgery program in partnership with Interior Health and will participate in the treatment and follow‑up of patients, including curative and palliative treatment planning, and engage in clinical trials as opportunities arise. The Successful Applicant Will Work with a team of specialized surgeons, oncologists and allied health professionals at the centre. Participate in treatment planning and patient follow‑up, both curative and palliative. Engage in clinical trials as opportunities arise. What You Bring Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP). Eligibility for appointment to the medical staff of BC Cancer and Kelowna General Hospital. Eligibility for appointment to the University of British Columbia. In‑patient and oncology experience is an asset but not required. No previous experience in medical oncology is required; BC Cancer will support your training with didactic virtual teaching and in‑clinic patient instruction.
