As part of our leadership team, you are responsible for achieving the business unit’s operational goals that include quality, commercial/financial, people, and culture. You lead our people with enthusiasm - attracting, retaining, motivating, and inspiring a team of Project Leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Champion and personify our values and culture
  • Develop and execute annual business plans and budget that lead to business growth
  • Attract, retain, motivate and inspire a team of Project Leaders
  • Lead with enthusiasm, delegate and empower teams
  • Coach your team’s commercial acumen and be known in the community
  • Drive collaboration, identify opportunities and develop innovative strategies to expand services in the local market to achieve annual growth targets
  • Collaborate with leaders from across the business to secure new opportunities and optimize resource allocation
  • Lead in the business unit’s operational objectives, including quality, commercial/financial, people, and culture
  • Work with all team members to develop their experience and achieve professional growth
  • Participate and present a unified company voice within the local business community, through networking, and active participation to help grow the business and recruit the best talent
  • Implement a culture of quality

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations leadership and business unit growth, preferably in professional services
  • Professional industry credentials or MBA (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
  • Experience managing a portion of a high-growth P&L to Plan
  • Clear understanding of a professional services business model, including workforce composition and resource management strategies, risk management strategies, and commercial strategies
  • Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to successfully lead teams and develop/implement operational plans for corporate initiatives
  • Leadership experience in the diversification of a business and the development of new market opportunities
  • The ability to project and maintain a positive outlook, demonstrate an energetic disposition, and motivate teams to achieve business growth ambitions
  • An established network of industry contacts and relationships within the region as well as involvement with applicable regional industry and trade associations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills including a proven ability to write winning proposals and win competitive interviews
