Position Personal Insurance Broker – Sudbury (Permanent, Full‑Time) Perks Flexible health and dental insurance benefits package Personal Spending amount to invest in your healthy lifestyle RRSP with company matching ESPP program with matching Dress for your day – dress according to your daily schedule Competitive compensation package with bonus for unlimited earning potential Employee discount program (Apple, Bell, Rogers, etc.) Paid Time Off: personal days, volunteer days, exam/study time, jury duty and starting at 3 weeks vacation per year Employer recognized as one of Canada’s best employers (Joint Commission 2024) Role Responsibilities Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business Quote new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and walk‑in clients Contact underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue certificates, process changes and review renewals Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes Actively participate in training initiatives Participate in community marketing initiatives Process accounts receivable activities Provide guidance and assistance as requested Qualifications Post‑secondary education (required) Relevant sales and customer service experience Desire and ability to create your own sales leads Strong customer focus Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills RIBO license an asset Equivalent skills: If you have the equivalent skills, please apply* We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
