Software Support Specialist - Environmental Software Location: Canada-Wide (Remote role supporting Canadian and US customers) Company: Datanest Software Canada About Us: Datanest Software is a growing provider of innovative environmental work‑flow management solutions. This means we go above and beyond to provide an industry‑leading customer experience. The Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic and tech‑savvy person to join our team in a customer support role. We’re looking for someone who loves technology and exceeding customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, chat, and online meeting. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolutions. Participate in product demonstrations and pilot programs (trial period before sale) with potential clients. Help with software testing as required. Provide support at industry conferences and events to network and promote Datanest Software. Collaborate with our marketing and product teams to inform product development and positioning. Diagnose and resolve software issues, escalating when needed. Document bugs and feature requests for the product team. Maintain and update help resources and FAQs. Requirements Previous experience in environmental consulting or related field. Experience in a customer service or technology role. Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Comfortable using CRM/ticketing systems and remote support tools. Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, simple terms. Organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Positive, customer‑focused attitude and strong team collaboration skills. Self‑motivated, independent, and comfortable with remote work. Willingness to travel within Canada and occasionally to the US for events. Can be located anywhere in Canada as long as your work day includes the hours from 12pm until 4pm Eastern Time.
