This individual ensures that all creative output—from social media campaigns to full-scale digital advertising initiatives—delivers both innovation and measurable impact. With a strong foundation in both digital design and messaging development, the Creative Director translates insights into strategies and messaging that inspire bold, effective creative.This is a hands-on role for a leader who can not only direct a team but also contribute their own writing and design skills to support the creative team with client branding, messaging and campaign execution. They will lead and mentor a small, multidisciplinary internal team of designers, art directors, and copywriters, while also managing external vendors, freelancers, and production partners. The Creative Director is responsible for orchestrating creative execution from concept to completion, including messaging, content strategy, and the planning and direction of photo and video shoots. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to elevate both the agency’s work and its people.Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Leadership & StrategyDefine and articulate the agency’s creative vision, ensuring alignment with client goals and digital marketing strategies.Act as the primary creative strategist for key accounts, shaping campaigns that deliver measurable results.Lead the development and presentation of creative concepts, strategies, messaging, and campaign ideas to clients.Translate data and analytics into creative concepts and messaging that are innovative, engaging, and performance-driven, with a strong focus on social media and digital advertising.Hands-On Content Creation & ExecutionDirect the development of all creative assets, including video, social media content, advertising, branding, and long-form content, with a strong focus on strategic messaging and copywriting, as well as compelling visual design.Utilize your own writing and design skills on high profile projects and to support the team, ensuring high-quality output across all projects.Periodically direct the planning and execution of photoshoots and videoshoots, overseeing creative concepts, moodboards, talent, and visual direction.Team Management & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and inspire a small internal team of designers, art directors, and copywriters.Take full responsibility for the performance, output, and professional development of the creative team.Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.Qualifications8+ years of experience in creative leadership roles within a digital marketing or advertising agency.A strong portfolio showcasing a history of successful creative campaigns, particularly in social media and digital advertising.Proven expertise in digital marketing, with the ability to leverage analytics and insights to guide creative strategy and messaging.Exceptional copywriting and design skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging and visuals across multiple digital platforms.Demonstrated success in client-facing roles, with the ability to present, persuade, and build lasting partnerships.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and other industry-standard tools.A demonstrable passion for and deep interest in the health and wellness industry.
