p>Our client is looking for a Manager of Procurement for a 12-month contract. The role will require working in office, in Scarborough, 2 days a week.

About the Opportunity

  • Act as an internal subject matter expert as it relates to indirect procurement prioritizing optimization of spend, strategic negotiations and vendor relationship development.
  • Strong practical experience in establishing/improving Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and enablement into ERP or eProcurement tools
  • Good understanding of P2P process fundamentals including spend analysis, order intake, contract drafting, spend channel development, PR/PO compliance, invoice automation and operationalization of end-to-end services.
  • Manage a portfolio of new/existing vendors including qualification, risk assessment, relationship management, KPIs and negotiation of commercial terms and conditions.

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in procurement and vendor management
  • Familiarity with indirect procurement categories (IT, professional services, communications, marketing, travel, facilities management)
