What you will do as a Platform Engineer

  • Supporting/ Monitoring all the existing data ingestion tools in the organization.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
  • Work with partners including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
  • Create and update documentation for the purposes of architectural governance and support or the tools that are used.
  • Assist in educating others on standard processes surrounding data ingestion work (i.e. data modeling, database design, ETL design, job scheduling and monitoring, etc.)
  • Ensuring the ideal utilization of the warehouses with respect of cost is looked after for data ingestion tools.
  • Follows all policies and standards.

You are a Platform engineer-

  • Your role would be to support the various platform for data ingestion and maintaining the standards and regulations.
  • You will be the technical matter expert on the data ingestion and provide solutions pertaining to the tools.
  • Ensure that the data sanity and quality is maintained.
  • Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, etc.
  • Experience with big data tools: li>
  • Experience with Data Flow, Data Pipeline and workflow management tools: li>
