About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect - Sr. Specialist, Cloud Development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing various applications in the area of large-scale worldwide Colgate e-Commerce operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital commerce platforms, such as Shopify, Commerce Cloud, Magento, and Salesforce, and will be able to collaborate with business teams, functional teams, and IT counterparts to provide daily support and project activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement various applications in the area of large-scale worldwide Colgate e-Commerce operations
  • Collaborate with business teams, functional teams, and IT counterparts to provide daily support and project activities
  • Develop and modify user-facing features for web and mobile eCommerce applications
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Improve test coverage of existing code bases
  • Collaborate with project collaborators to translate business requirements into digital solutions
  • Work closely with UX and design resources to ensure technical feasibility of designs while maintaining user-centric focus
  • Work within a product team to prioritize and implement new application features
  • Assist the product manager in handling the product backlog and establishing sprint goals
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
  • Experience with leading Digital Commerce platforms such as Shopify, Commerce Cloud, Magento, Salesforce, etc.
  • Working on Agile/SCRUM development teams
  • Strong organization skills and self-motivation
  • Ability to work on numerous assignments at one time with proven follow-through, attention to detail and dedication to business partnership
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Google Analytics (or similar)
  • Experience of working in a Scaled Agile framework
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence, and/or Trello)
  • Experience with web development / architecture
  • Experience in user research or design thinking
