Customs Brokerage Representative I – UPS Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Job type: Full-Time / Permanent Workdays: Tuesday to Saturday (must be able to work all 5 days of the week) Shift hours: Tuesday to Friday: 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM EST, Saturday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST (must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week). Shift duration: 8 hours per day (requires flexibility with start and finish times). Work location: Remote Compensation: 17.85 Job Description To process customs clearance (release) and/or confirm declarations for repetitive and non‑complex shipments guided by the CCBS system and personal skills. Work with import operations, support services, consulting, inbound services, sales, and other customs clients and partners. Specific output or services include: Customs release and/or confirm declarations for repetitive and non‑complex shipments using the client’s profile in the CCBS system (create or modify line code/classification). Handle delivery service and/or import permits requests if required, and gather and send proper documentation to the government. Responsibilities Data entry (open customers’ files, validate information, credit, and invoicing). Collect supplementary information or documentation from customers, drivers, customs, and other offices when required. Identify customer profile discrepancies. Answer standard questions and requests from customers, drivers, customs, and other offices. Work as a team member with other actors: clients, UPS SCS employees, carriers, inbound agents. Qualifications 6 months to 2 years of experience. High school degree. Bilingualism required – intermediate level (in Quebec only). Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments. Basic understanding of HS system. Basic computer skills.
