Branch Sales Manager We’re hiring for a Branch Sales Manager. Are you a dynamic leader within the staffing industry with a passion for driving sales and building strong client relationships? Increases branch profitability through sales and customer service activities, developing and maintaining high‑level name awareness through the use of advertising and public relations. Ensures colleague satisfaction through effective selection, training and development of branch staff. Education Completion of post‑secondary education in a related field or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility. Experience A minimum of two (2) to five (5) years related work experience, preferably in the service industry. Management One (1) to two (2) years supervisory/mgmt experience, preferably in a service oriented environment. Technical Working knowledge of Provincial Labour laws. Proficient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and e‑mail applications. A proven track record of one (1) to two (2) years direct sales experience. Experience/knowledge of general Human Resources practices an asset. What you’ll be doing 1. Increases branch profitability by leading and supervising the overall sales effort. Develops and maintains a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy, conducting and overseeing sales calls and telemarketing activities for current accounts and new prospects. Identifies growth opportunities for existing accounts and ensures quality of service through consistent client follow up, surveys and problem resolution. 2. Creates and maintains current contacts in the local professional and business community, increasing name awareness and promoting Adecco’s services. Develops and maintains knowledge of economic trends and changes affecting local businesses. Maintains records of competitors in the area including their respective market shares, locations, services and benefits offered. 3. Selects, trains, develops and motivates branch colleagues. Supervises staff, providing coaching and performance development as needed. Recommends salary actions and conducts performance appraisals. 4. Sets and monitors pay and bill rates based on skill categories. Ensures proper credit references are obtained and client credit limits are established according to guidelines. Monitors all outstanding accounts receivable. 5. Establishes an annual budget and business plan, develops regular branch revenue and expense forecasts, and monitors expenditures within the budget to maximize profitability. Maintains accurate accounting records, and provides payroll, billing and other reports related to branch operation. 6. Monitors the branch’s workers compensation claims to minimize exposure and resulting expenses. Ensures that all respective health and safety regulations are followed, and that all federal, provincial and local notices and licenses are current and posted. 7. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. About you Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with an ability to influence and motivate others. Possesses superior organizational skills. Is able to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently. Disciplined in timely follow up with prospects and clients. Skilled in the art of networking, lead generation and prospect development. Proactive and able to solve problems effectively and rapidly using excellent analytical skills. Proven consistently high levels of customer service performance, with an ability to build strong client relationships, and expand the marketplace.
