About the Company Our client is a leading insurance provider.They are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join their teamWhy Work Here Supportive culture Room for growth Excellent work life balance CPA dues covered Excellent benefits About the OpportunityPreparation of federal GST/HST returns and provincial sales tax returns Preparation of premium/fire tax returns Assist with preparation of Federal and provincial corporate income tax returns Preparation of quarterly income tax provision calculations Assist with other tax compliance tasks including tax instalments, and account reconciliations Provide support in internal and external audits, including various other tax issues, assessments, and inquiries About YouBachelors Degree 4 or more years of experience in the Corporate Tax area or accounting.ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Corporate Tax area or accounting.ORCompany Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Corporate Tax area or accounting. Experience in income tax. Statutory accounting knowledge. Knowledge of the federal and provincial income tax legislation and regulations Working knowledge of the insurance industry and the unique rules associated with accounting and tax reporting CPA Certification or enrolled in the program Tax internship and/or professional experience in public or corporate accounting Strong spreadsheet skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Salary Range $85,000 - $100,000 / yearHow to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
