Sessional Lecturer, College of Education, EPSE 202 (ITEP - Beardy's and Okemasis FN) The Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education in the College of Education and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invites applications for an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer to teach the following community-based courses during the 2025-2026 Regular Session. Overview Course Number, Section, and Name: EPSE 202.3 (E56) Psychological Foundations of Teaching and Learning Term and Course Dates: Term 2 (January 1 to April 30, 2026) CRN: 32623 Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture (Live in-person on Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation). Course Schedule: Actual days/times; alternating Thursdays 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Expected Enrollment Limit: 35 Location: Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation (approx. 1 hr NE of Saskatoon, SK) Responsibilities and Qualifications Responsibilities: Teach the specified community-based course; prepare and deliver lectures; conduct assessments; provide feedback and support to students; and complete required preparation and marking time. Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Education or related discipline and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. Applicants must possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit culture as well as the socio-economic and pedagogical factors associated with teaching this body of students. Other requirements: A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
