Distribution Assistant – Neighbourly Pharmacy Location: Rubicon Distribution Centre, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Responsibilities Report to the Distribution Centre Manager and manage the receiving and fulfilling of customer orders for medications and supplies for clinics and hospitals. Operate within Health Canada – Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate regulations for the wholesaling of medications and medical devices, ensuring compliance with product procurement, temperature storage, shipping requirements, customer complaints, and product recalls. Perform physical tasks such as receiving stock, warehousing, and moving items. Regularly communicate with customers via telephone and in person when placing orders. Order, receive, store, and secure materials and supplies necessary for the department’s operations, following and executing store policies. Maintain the Health Canada-licensed warehouse in compliance with safety and regulatory standards for handling medications and medical devices. Contribute to profitability through effective inventory control, minimizing wastage, and optimizing stock levels without shortages. Build and maintain strong relationships with the team, customers, and vendors to support long‑term viability. Participate in product cataloging, vendor management, and tracking of materials for current and future needs. Maintain accurate records, reporting, and communication with the Pharmacy Manager/Store Operator. Provide support and services to Neighbourly Pharmacy locations as needed. Perform miscellaneous tasks to support the Distribution Centre Manager and Store Operator. Qualifications Preference for candidates with previous pharmacy experience and knowledge of SAGE computer applications (training can be provided). Experience with month‑end reporting, accounts, billables & payables, and inventory control, including receiving and shipping. Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Professional image, grooming, and a positive attitude with excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and co‑workers. Physically capable of performing essential job duties, including lifting up to 30 lbs. Successful candidates must complete a Criminal Record Check due to the sensitive nature of the position. Schedule 40 hours per week (Full‑time). The standard shifts are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation & Benefits Paid vacation. Comprehensive health and dental benefits.
