Key Responsibilities Private Equity Capital: Support the acquisitions of pre‑specified small‑scale multi‑unit housing projects, select and negotiate the project‑level limited partnership agreement with selected general partners and review applications for limited partnerships. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strategic relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, investment brokers and institutional partners. Retail Investment Strategy: Execute on the retail investment strategy through Laidler Academy’s education programs and brand building; this includes speaking at events, delivering workshops and working with the Head of Partnerships to onboard new clients. Investment Oversight & Investor Relations: Review project‑level quantity survey reports, perform site visits, lead quarterly investor update meetings. Value‑Added Services: Lead the value‑additional services to the project‑level general partners including referring key consultants, site planning, floors, finishing specifications and project marketing strategy. Acquisition Strategy: Grow a consolidated list of pre‑sale buyers to identify key trends and drive acquisition strategy. Financial Leadership & Business Strategy: Lead Laidler Capital’s financial modelling, investment underwriting and return analysis; develop strategies for existing limited partnership structures; lead the growth to diversify real‑estate private‑equity investments. Team Leadership: Mentor and lead team members, ensuring excellence in execution and compliance (staff direct report includes the Director of Capital Markets, Controller and future Analysts).
