Job Description The Product Manager will support the strategic development, launch and management of activities and initiatives related to Sun Life’s Group Benefits Plan Sponsor and Advisor experience. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment and will be responsible for enabling the delivery of digital experiences and services by building and overseeing the product roadmap to successfully launch innovations to the market and improve our internal practices. The successful candidate will drive project delivery, support strategy development and work closely with key stakeholder and peers across Group Benefits, Client Experience Office and Operations teams to deliver on our plans. What will you do Support the development and management of the sponsor and advisor experience strategy Contribute to the development of the GB sponsor and advisor experience strategy and initiative roadmap by recommending features, services and enhancements Proactively identify and assess opportunities and deliver strategies considering client needs, competitive intelligence and operational constraints Advocate for our Plan Sponsors and Advisors, driving towards a One Sun Life experience Help define the Sponsor Journey and Advisor Journey roadmap, support the execution of roadmaps and ensure baseline reporting is maintained Contribute to the creation and promotion of our Plan Sponsor Journey, including thought leadership, proposal content, communications, presentations and support Develop, maintain and manage a backlog of initiatives, innovation concepts pilots and product recommendations to inform the Sponsor and Advisor roadmap Use structured problem solving and data and insights to understand issues / challenges that arise and to propose solutions Enable the delivery of digital solutions to enhance the sponsor and advisor experience Define, support and drive the vision for digitizing experiences for our Sponsors and Advisors to ensure an optimal experience and to create engaging, fulfilling and interactive experiences for our Plan Sponsors and Advisors Enable delivery of digital capabilities and project support to Plan Sponsor and Advisor experience improvements via an MVP (Minimum viable product) approach by participating in the development of strategy, business models and business cases where applicable Develop, implement and manage projects including working group sessions, project updates, and relevant governance and change management processes to see a product or concept from conception through roll out and future monitoring Accountable for the management and delivery of initiatives by supporting planning, business value‑based prioritization, resource & stakeholder management, execution, issue escalation and resolution, risk & financial management, communication and KPI management Oversee the AdminPlus product Own GB’s solution for outsourced Plan Sponsor benefit plan administration and related services In partnership with Operations, recommend enhancements to the AdminPlus strategy, roadmap and execution plan to evolve the product offering and support sales Demonstrate exceptional problem‑solving skills to address complex client customization requests and product‑related escalations Foster strong relationships Own outcomes and provide updates to leaders and key partners relating to project and capability delivery, client experience, market impacts, and our overall team strategy Develop strong working relationships with other internal stakeholders who support the project and digital lifecycle within Sun Life, as well as external industry peers and organizations What do you need to succeed A strong understanding of the Canadian Group Benefits Market (5+ years) A client‑obsessed perspective to support continued innovation and overcome obstacles Experience leading and navigating projects spanning multiple teams with a proven track record of successful delivery Expert written and verbal communication and facilitation skills, and ability to lead large groups with varying perspectives and backgrounds to aligned outcomes A demonstrated history of strategic thinking, paired with strong problem‑solving skills and a curious approach to see problems as opportunities Ability to leverage data to analyze problems and synthesize into meaningful insights to provide recommendations Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence High attention to detail and accuracy of information Why join Sun Life Being a member of the Sun Life family, a group of people united by our purpose: to help Clients and Employees achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives A friendly, collaborative and inclusive culture A collaborative and interactive team environment Being part of our journey in developing the next greatest digital experience Working together, sharing common values and encouraging growth & achievement Salary Range 80,000–128,000 Diversity and inclusion have always been at the core of our values at Sun Life.
