Tasks:
  1. Collect samples and perform other laboratory tests
  2. Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
  3. Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery
  4. Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian
  5. Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian
  6. May perform a variety of office management and clerical duties
  7. Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist veterinarians with animal dentistry
