OverviewAre you a skilled QA Automation Developer passionate about delivering high-quality digital services in complex, evolving environments?Location: Primarily Remote, with occasional meetings in Edmonton (Alberta, Canada)Contract: Estimated 1,960 hours over term (approx. 24 months)Schedule: Full-time, flexible based on project needsWhat You’ll DoLead quality assurance in delivery of digital services across multiple projectsCreate detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios for manual and automated testingDesign and implement system, load/performance, and security testsDevelop and maintain automated test suites supporting frequent feature deliverySupport adoption of quality practices such as BDD/TDD, code linting, and test coverageCollaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to ensure quality is embedded throughout developmentHelp define and collect service quality metrics and automate reportingSupport innovation with reusable test components, test databases, and AI-assisted testingQualifications2+ years coding and developing automation scripts3+ years experience creating/modifying automated test scripts and plans3+ years working with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)Experience with GitHub and version control (2+ years)Knowledge of load, performance, and security testing (3+ years)Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman (preferred)Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin and Behavior Driven Development (nice to have)Experience with QA automation metrics and standards implementationKnowledge of Jira/Xray and User Acceptance Testing processesExperience with Cypress automation frameworkFamiliarity with QA automation standards and organizational implementationExposure to security clearance processes and government environmentsExperience with automated testing in Agile delivery teamsAbout the RoleJoin a dynamic digital delivery division that is driving modernization and innovation and will directly impact how Albertans experience efficient, accessible, and secure public programs.
