Join EllisDon Essential Functions/Responsibilities In the position of Co‑op student, job shadowing a HSE Coordinator, we would ask you to do the following: Assist in project safety orientation, job site inspections and accident/injury reports. Assist with the development, review and implementation of site specific safety plans, safe work practices and safe work procedures. Help the project teams organize and conduct training programs including but not limited to: WHMIS 2015, Working at Heights, Personal Protective Equipment, and CPR/First Aid. Monitor employees and subcontractors on site to ensure compliance to safety procedures and escape issues to resolution through the HSE Coordinator and EllisDon team on site. Proactively identify and prevent hazardous situations and take necessary measures to correct them. Is this the right role for you? You must be enrolled in a College or University Co‑op or Internship.
