If you are passionate about your work, enjoy working within a strong culture of teamwork, dedicated to quality improvement and are looking to practice in a welcoming community setting where the lifestyle opportunities are endless, apply today and discover the rewards of professional and personal satisfaction As a Hospitalist at Cariboo Memorial Hospital, you will work in the acute inpatient medicine setting and function in a MRP (most responsible physician) role for complex medical and co‑management of surgical patients, as well as palliative care. Working throughout the hospital, you will receive excellent support from the other CMH specialists and family physicians. Working 8 hours a day you will see an average of 12–16 inpatients per shift. Compensation Type: Clinical Service Contract. Estimated Remuneration for a full‑time Hospitalist: $336,162.00 annually, plus MOCAP level 2. Benefits and Incentives: May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 12.32%, Retention Flat Fee $19,092, Relocation Funding Available $9,000–$15,000, Recruitment Incentive $15,000 (based on 1.0 FTE). Other benefits/incentives: Rural Incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at time of offer.
