DIAGNOSTICS PROGRAM MANAGER SUPPORT-CONTRACT

The Role:

AMD is seeking a Program Management Analyst for the RTG Diagnostic team in Markham. This is a great opportunity to use your silicon production experience to define and manage key product deliverables/schedules and drive cross-functional activities. AMD's environment is fast paced, results oriented and built upon a legion of forward-thinking people with a passion for winning technology

The Person:

The ideal candidate for this position has experience in a program management environment in the semiconductor or related industry. As an independent worker who can take initiative, you are organized, detail oriented and you have the ability to prioritize tasks. You are responsive and have robust interpersonal skills and a strong ability to coordinate in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The AMD Diagnostics asset management, end to end project hardware ordering and tracking in the system for North America and the Global Diagnostics teams.
  2. Track Diagnostics project status and follow up with stakeholders to complete project action items to ensure on time execution.
  3. Work with Diagnostics Program Managers using PowerBI, JIRA, JAMA, Tableau, Excel to create visual charts and project data/progress analysis.
  4. Develop and maintain Power BI data models that aggregate data from multiple data sources to meet business requirements, configure, and setup application gateways.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  6. Experience with scripting language, an added bonus.
  7. Assist program managers in preparing project documents.
  8. Plan for project celebrations and procurement of project souvenirs.
  9. Lab equipment and test system setup to enable Diagnostics teams for project execution in the Markham lab.

Preferred Experience:

  1. Collaborate with internal and external groups on behalf of the Diag Program Manager team.
  2. Excellent communication skills oral and written.
  3. Capable of communicating problems, solutions, and progress with the Program Managers and stakeholders.
  4. Identify and plan improvement activities to reduce cost, mindset to improve process.
  5. Develop and maintain effective working relationship with other departments.
  6. Microsoft Power BI certifications is an asset.
  7. Debug experience in computer hardware, software, test system preferred.

Academic Credentials:

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
