About this role
We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance Team. You will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing business transactions, managing bank and operations reconciliations, processing accounts payable and receivables, and preparing analysis reports; reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager.
You will also be responsible for data analysis for operations BI, to optimize business decisions.
You Will:
- Maintain books of accounts (including but not limited to reviewing business transactions and accounting postings, bank reconciliations, verifying and processing employee expense reimbursements, etc.)
- Assist in maintaining policy and procedure documentation for complex financial and accounting issues
- Review and optimize financial processes
- Assist in business analysis by different operation systems and BI tools
- Assist in optimizing revenue and saving costs/spending for better Net profit and ROI
- Maintain an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation and schedules for all financial and bookkeeping activities
- Assist in month-end closing and produce internal reports and assist in year-end schedules for submission to external auditors
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of financial and accounting experience
- Qualified professional accountant (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
- High responsibility, self-motivated, good organizational, efficiency and performance delivery, result-oriented, time management and prioritizing skills
- Experience in QuickBooks and Circle language as an asset
- Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office Pack
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written; Fluent in Mandarin is an asset
