ResponsibilitiesOrganize and execute the distribution center’s workload by shift to ensure on-time, in-full completion of all orders to customers.Recognize, recommend, and implement ways to delegate work, leverage manpower, maximize efficiency, and resolve/troubleshoot problems to maintain productivity; escalate to management when issues require resolution.Coordinate and monitor shift operations (inbound, outbound, tint specials, replenishment, etc.) and review daily performance reports in alignment with KPI metrics.Review and resolve shipping errors and develop strategies to minimize them.Utilize 5S and Continuous Improvement methodologies to identify, implement, and sustain process improvements.Oversee cleanliness and safety of the work areas and equipment; ensure daily equipment accountability (RF scanners, MHE, etc.).Assist in developing and training employees on standard work instructions (SWI).Facilitate daily Gemba walks, stand-up meetings, and shift-change meetings.Open and close the facility daily as required.Other duties as assigned. Employee ResponsibilitiesAssist site management with employee-related issues (job assignments, scheduling, time off requests) and resolve minor disputes; escalate as needed.Provide verbal and written input to performance evaluations; partner with management to deliver timely mid-year and year-end evaluations.Provide management with performance/attendance infractions for review and assist in administering corrective action as appropriate.Participate in interviews and site tours for applicants; assist with onboarding new hires.Partner with other department Leads to cross-train employees to increase versatility.Engage with team members to gather feedback on efficiencies, performance, or work environment improvements. Safety ResponsibilitiesFollow and administer safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines for the assigned shift.Ensure use of required safety equipment and PPE.Address safety issues promptly and coach the team on safety expectations.Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal DOT regulations.Report near misses in a timely manner. QualificationsHigh school degree required or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.Experience in a dynamic distribution environment.Solid verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated computer skills and working knowledge of WMS; ability to adapt to new systems.Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and SAP.Ability to operate motorized material handling equipment (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach truck, scissor lift).Ability to travel to U.S. and other Canadian facilities for training as needed. Physical RequirementsFrequent standing and walking; frequent lifting of 10-75 lbs.; ability to bend, twist, kneel, and squat as needed. Compensation and BenefitsBenjamin Moore provides a competitive base salary with eligible performance-based annual raise and bonus. The salary offer will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and location.
